2007
Where it all began. The venue was originally home to the legendary Lounge 31 at 31 Withy Grove, next to the Printworks.
Then
Lounge 31 later evolved into Aura Bar & Lounge. It was a new look, but the same late nights.
Later
In more recent years it became simply The Lounge, still one of the city’s favourite places to party.
2018
In 2018 the venue closed completely for a major revamp, and a brand new venue was born: The Manchester Lounge.

After the building had been in existence for 10 years, it was time for a major revamp. The venue closed down completely and a brand new venue was born. Say hello to The Manchester Lounge.

This urban venue has five unique private VIP areas, including the bespoke-designed and exclusive Courvoisier Lounge. It has its very own cocktail-serviced bar, so every party need is covered.
The sound
The Blacka Acoustics experience.
An exclusive dance floor seating area and stage, with a brand new sound system from Manchester’s very own Blacka Acoustics. Played by some of our regular DJs, including DJ JC, Eddie Down, DJ Devine, DJ Mad Maxx and many others.
